Emboss with the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the Cajun Craze card base.
Cajun Craze Cardstock
2-3/8″ x 4-7/8″
Painted Patch DSP
2-1/4″ x 4-3/4″
Adhere the Painted Patch DSP to the Cajun Craze layer. Position the completed panel vertically toward the left side of the card front.
FOCAL PANEL

Basic White Cardstock
2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
Adhere the Basic White layer to the Cajun Craze mat, then position the completed focal panel over the patterned-paper panel as shown.
PUMPKIN GROUPING
Cut the pumpkins from the Painted Patch DSP.
Cut 3 leaves from Cajun Craze Cardstock using the Painted Pumpkins dies.
Arrange the pumpkins across the lower portion of the Basic White focal panel, overlapping them to create one larger grouping. Tuck the Cajun Craze leaves around the pumpkins.
I love that some of the pumpkin pieces extend beyond the edges of the focal panel—there’s no rule that says everything has to stay inside the rectangle!
SENTIMENT
Create the Sending Hugs sentiment using the Sweetly Sentiment Hot Foil Dies with Gold Foil.
Position the sentiment toward the upper left portion of the focal panel.
EMBELLISHMENTS
Add Painted Patch Adhesive-Backed Dots around the pumpkin grouping.
INSIDE OF THE CARD
Basic White Cardstock

Adhere the Basic White layer inside the card.
Cut a pumpkin from the Painted Patch DSP and adhere it near the lower left corner.

This card shows exactly why a sketch is a starting point—not a set of rules.
Instead of placing one image neatly in the center of the focal panel, I grouped several pumpkins together, added leaves, and let some of the pieces extend beyond the edges.
Try the same idea with flowers, Christmas greenery, presents, balloons, die cuts—or whatever you have in your craft room.
And don’t forget the inside! One small leftover piece of DSP was all this card needed to carry the design inside.
